| August 15, 2006 3:18AM Tuesday. Today I left Topless Chucky a msn msg and left for Horseshoe Bay. By the time I had reached Horseshoe Bay, It was already getting dark... and I wanted to drive fast. Knowing how potentially dangerous that road is (previous experience at our last miata meet for those of you who were there), I still wanted to despite the fact that it is a one lane road and there were plenty of cars, I passed on the opposite lane and just drove and drove possibly waaay above residential speed limit. It is not something I am proud of but it seems that the factor of danger is something that I risk in order to have fun. Now I wonder... is it really worth risking it all? To my (still) adolescent and young mind... I believe so. To my mind... I want to try everything before I get any older. I cannot wait to hit up the track and test the real limits of my car. On a happier note, there was no tire screaming or smoking today. :) |
